About this site

What this site is and is not, and the reasoning behind those choices.

This page is informational and scientific in nature. It is not medical advice and not a set of instructions for use. Consult a physician for health questions.

Purpose

Peptidekennis is a reference on research peptides. The aim is a single place where, for each substance, you can find what it is, what it acts on, what the research shows and what its regulatory status is.

What this site deliberately does not do

  • no sales and no links to sellers;
  • no dosages, reconstitution instructions, schedules or injection technique;
  • no "substance X for goal Y" pages;
  • no health claims or treatment advice.

Dosing and administration information for non-approved substances reads — however it is labelled — as instructions for self-administration. This site holds that line, even where it means leaving a frequently asked question unanswered.

How the pages are structured

Every substance page follows the same five sections: what it is, mechanism of action, research status, regulatory status and what remains unknown. A key-facts block sits at the top and a source list at the bottom. That fixed structure makes substances comparable and makes gaps in the evidence visible.
